• The UVU Engaged Reading Scholarship Award is awarded by the UVU Forum on Engaged Reading scholarship committee to one teacher and one school librarian in each of the following service area districts. Scholarship recipients will be recognized during a ceremony at the For the Love of Reading Conference at The Chateaux Resort in Deer Valley.

 

• Full 2-Day Conference admission (September 19 & 20, 2013)
• Hotel stay at The Chateaux at Deer Valley on September 19, 2013 (one night)
• School District reimbursed for one-day classroom substitute (up to $50)

 

One teacher and one librarian from the following school districts will be awarded the UVU Partnership Educator Scholarship Award:

• Alpine
• Canyons
• Charter Schools/Independent Schools
• Granite
• Jordan 
• Nebo    
• North Summit
• Park City
• Provo   
• South Summit
• Wasatch                 

• Teachers and school librarians wishing to be considered for the scholarship must submit completed Forms A (a brief explanation about how you inspire a love for reading, electronic signatures acceptable) and B *(a student’s recommendation), attached here, to Ashley Santillana. Forms A & B must be received by July 18, 2013. NOTE: The application deadline has been extended to August 30, 2013.

   

  * If the recommending student is an emerging or beginning reader/writer, a mentor/parent may assist the student, and the letter may be attached to the form and scanned or mailed with Form B.
